Networked Paging Station-1

Networked Paging Station-1 is a microphone console that integrates with AudiaFLEX networks via CobraNet, using a single CAT5 cable to carry audio, control, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

Networked Paging Station-1 units are represented in the Layout as blocks that have only a single audio output, which will be connected to a Paging Zone Router. When placed from the Object Toolbar, each block may have up to 32 programmable buttons for page routing, as well as logic control output nodes indicating button activity. Logic control output nodes are always present to verify CobraNet (CN) and microphone (MG) signals, and to indicate any button activity (Any). Networked Paging Station-1 units are assigned a Station ID that matches that of the corresponding block. More than one unit may be associated with the same block (Station ID).

Double-clicking the block produces the control dialog. Set Text displays the Station ID on the block itself. NOTE: The Station ID of a block may be changed in the Object Property Sheet. Mute and Level affect audio from the associates microphone(s). Button Name indicates the currently selected button. NOTE: A Button Name may be changed by right-clicking on the button itself. Press to Talk allows selected buttons to be tested, by initiating any assigned Chime signals to related zone outputs and verifying paging success (via dialog messages and control node activation). Multiple buttons may be selected for testing by holding down the Shift key. NOTE: Press to Talk does not activate signal from the microphone itself. Button routing, priority, and chime are programmed in the Paging Zone Router . Various settings for the Networked Paging Station-1 units (including Station ID, IP Address, and Lock Code) may be made through software Device Maintenance or during setup of the unit itself (see Networked Paging Station-1 operation manual).
